Indications: This medication is indicated to prevent chest pain like angina in people with a certain heart condition. Monoket is a member of a class of drugs known as nitrates that acts by relaxing and widening blood vessels so blood can flow more smoothly to the heart.
It does not relieve chest pain once it occurs. This medication is not approved to be consumed just before physical activities like exercise or sexual intercourse to prevent chest pain.
