Active Ingredient: Metoclopramide Hydrochloride is a para-aminobenzoic acid derivative that shows gastroprokinetic and antiemetic activities. This is an active ingredient that binds to dopamine 2 receptors in the peripheral nervous system. It antagonizes dopamine-mediated relaxation of gastrointestinal smooth muscle and promoting gastroprokinesis; the pyloric sphincter, and the duodenal bulb.
