Active Ingredient
This medicine contains a combination of two active ingredients Dutasteride and Tamsulosin Hydrochloride. Dutasteride is an alpha-reductase inhibitor used to treat benign prostatic hypertrophy, which is associated with a low rate of transient serum aminotransferase elevations. It is used in the treatment of symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia in men with an enlarged prostate gland.
Tamsulosin Hydrochloride plays the role of an alpha-adrenergic antagonist and an antineoplastic agent. The component contains tamsulosin and an enantiomer of ent-tamsulosin hydrochloride. It is used to relieve symptoms of urinary obstruction caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Indications
This medicine is indicated in men to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate i.e. benign prostatic hyperplasia. Dutasteride reduces the size of the enlarged prostate. Tamsulosin is called an alpha-blocker and relaxes muscles in the bladder and prostate. It also helps to relieve symptoms of BPH such as difficulty in beginning the flow of urine, weak stream, and the need to urinate frequently or urgently. Qual capsule is not approved for the prevention of prostate cancer.

Action Mechanism
Given medication works by reducing the size of the enlarged prostate. It is composed of alpha-blocker that relaxes muscles in the bladder and prostate. It relieves symptoms of BPH.
Dosages: It is available for oral consumption as a capsule and offered in dosage as given below:
- 0.5 mg + 0.4 mg: This capsule should be administered exactly as prescribed by the doctor
