Indications

It is also indicated for the treatment of pain from various other conditions. Action Mechanism
This mentioned medication reduces the production of prostaglandins. These are chemicals that the body makes and which induce the fever and pain that are related to inflammation. Indocin blocks the enzymes that produce prostaglandins and reduces the levels of prostaglandins. It leads to a reduction in fever, pain, and inflammation.
Dosages
This effective medicine is offered in dosages as given below:
- 25 mg: It must be taken 2 or 3 times a day with a full glass of water as advised by the doctor
- 50 mg: Consume this tablet 2 to 3 times a day with or without food as prescribed by the doctor.
Note
Do not lie down for at least 10 minutes after consuming this medication. It can be taken with food, antacid, or milk to avoid stomach upset.
