Indications

Danocrine also treats breast pain/tenderness/nodules due to a certain breast condition. It is also used in both men and women to prevent swelling of the abdomen/arms/legs/face/airway due to a certain congenital disease.
Action Mechanism
Danazol composed medication is an androgen similar to testosterone. For the treatment of endometriosis and fibrocystic breast disease, Danocrine works by decreasing the number of hormones made by the ovaries. These hormones usually make conditions worse. For the treatment of angioedema, this component helps to increase the amount of a certain protein in your body’s defense system.
You should not use Danocrine if you have:
- Undiagnosed Vaginal Bleeding
- Severe Heart Problems
- A History Of Hormone-related Cancer
- A History Of Stroke Or Blood Clot
- Severe Liver Or Kidney Disease
- Porphyria
- Cancer Of The Breast, Uterus/cervix, Or Vagina
Dosages
This medicine is available for oral consumption and in dosage as mentioned below:
- 50 mg: It is to be taken twice a day or as directed by the doctor
- 100 mg: It shall be consumed twice a day with or without food exactly as prescribed by the doctor
- 200 mg: This tablet must be consumed as directed by the doctor, usually twice a day with or without food
