Active Ingredient: This medicine contains the main active ingredient Carvedilol, which is a unique antihypertensive medication. It shows activity against both alpha- and beta-adrenergic receptors. The active component is a member of the class of carbazoles that is an adrenergic antagonist with non-selective beta- and alpha-1 receptor blocking properties. It helps in the treatment of congestive heart failure. It also acts as a beta-adrenergic antagonist, an antihypertensive agent, an alpha-adrenergic antagonist, a vasodilator agent, and a cardiovascular drug.

Indications: This mentioned medication is approved for the treatment of high blood pressure and heart failure. It also treats a heart attack to improve the chance of survival if the heart is not pumping well. Reducing elevated blood pressure prevents strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.

• 12.5 mg: It is to be administered once in a day in the morning with breakfast, exactly as advised by the doctor
