Description
Active Ingredient: Active component Clonidine Hydrochloride in the medicine is the hydrochloride salt form of clonidine, an imidazoline derivate, and centrally-acting alpha-adrenergic agonist. It is also antagonist with antihypertensive activity. It binds to and stimulates central alpha-2 adrenergic receptors and decreases sympathetic outflow to the heart, kidneys, and peripheral vasculature. Due to reduction in sympathetic outflow, leads to decrease in peripheral vascular resistance, lowered blood pressure, and decreased heart rate.
