Description

Active Ingredient: Prazosin Hydrochloride is an active component in this medicine. It is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor inhibitor acts as an anti-hypertensive. This drug shows effects that are most pronounced in the large resistance vessels and leads to a decrease in total systemic vascular resistance without a rebound or reflex tachycardia. This medication also reduces the tone of the bladder sphincter, so as to allow the opening of the bladder into the urethra. Thus, it relieves the urinary conditions related to benign prostatic hypertrophy.

Indications: Prazosin Hydrochloride composed drug is indicated with or without other drugs to treat high blood pressure. Decreasing high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. Minipress belongs to a class of drugs called alpha blockers that relaxes and widens blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily.

• 5 mg: It must be taken orally two or three times a day with or without food, or as directed by the doctor
