What Zoton is used for
Peptic Ulcers, Reflux Oesophagitis, Heartburn and stomach pain associated with reflux or peptic ulcer, and Peptic Ulcers Associated with Helicobacter Pylori Infection.
How Zoton works?
Zoton contains lansoprazole, which is a type of medicine known as proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by decreasing the amount of acid the stomach makes, to give relief from the symptoms of excessive acid and allow healing to take place.
Things to know before using Zoton
Do not take Zoton if you have an allergy to: Lansoprazole or any medicines containing a proton-pump inhibitor
Do not use Zoton if you have severe liver disease
Do not use Zoton after the use by (expiry) date printed on the pack
How to take Zoton?
Follow all directions given to you by your doctor or pharmacist carefully.
When to take it?
Zoton works best when taken on an empty stomach.
How much to take?
The dosage is usually 30 mg a day. The dose may vary from 15 mg to 30 mg a day depending on what the condition is and how long treatment is needed.
