Pred replaces a chemical made in the body. It lowers or stops the bodys reaction to the allergen. It stops or lowers irritation and swelling. It lowers the bodys harmful response to diseases of the immune system.

Fluid retention, alteration in glucose tolerance, increased appetite, high blood pressure, behavioral and mood changes, allergic reactions and weight gain might occur while using Pred.
What is Pred used for?
This medication is used to treat certain eye conditions due to inflammation or injury. Pred medicine works by relieving symptoms including swelling, redness, and itching. It belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids.
How to use Pred?
To apply eye drops, wash hands first. If using a suspension form of this medication, shake the bottle well before using. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch the eye or any other surface.
What dosage is to be followed while using Pred?
1 to 2 drops are to be instilled into the conjunctival sac two to four times daily. During the initial 24 to 48 hours the dosage may be safely increased to 2 drops every hour.
