Urispas belongs to the class of medications called antispasmodics. This medication is used to treat painful urination, urgency of urination, frequent urination at night, and incontinence. Urispas works by decreasing muscle spasms in the urinary tract and bladder.

Who should not take Urispas medication?
Whoever is under 12 years of age, or has a blockage of the lower urinary tract, or a swallowing disorder called achalasia, or obstruction of the stomach or intestines, or stomach bleeding should not take Urispas.
What side effects are possible with this Urispas?
Many Urispas can cause side effects. A side effect is an unwanted response to a medication when it is taken in normal doses. Side effects can be mild or severe, temporary or permanent. The side effects listed below are not experienced by everyone who takes this medication.
