Rispa is an antipsychotic medicine that works by changing the effects of chemicals in the brain.
What is Rispa worked for?
Rispa is used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or irritability associated with autistic disorder. Rispa should not be used to treat behavioral problems in older adults who have dementia.
What other condition shall Rispa work on?
Rispa is also used to treat symptoms of bipolar disorder (manic depression) in adults and children who are at least 10 years old. Rispa is also used to treat symptoms of irritability in autistic children who are 5 to 16 years old.
How to consume Rispa?
Risperidone can be taken with or without food. Take risperidone exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
What happens in case of overdose?
Overdose symptoms may include severe drowsiness, fast heart rate, feeling light-headed, fainting, and restless muscle movements in your eyes, tongue, jaw, or neck.
