What is Naprogesic?
Naprogesic is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) which is specially designed for treating the cause of period pain. It does the job by inhibiting prostaglandin production.
How does Naprogesic work?
Naprogesic works for the condition best when taken the day before your period is due as this allows it to stop the production of prostaglandins before they can cause pain. Naprogesic is to be consumed with food.
How to consume Naprogesic?
At the first sign of period pain or menstrual bleeding (whichever occurs first), take 2 tablets (with food) followed by one tablet every 6 to 8 hours as required. The total daily dosage should not exceed 5 tablets.
What is the active component in Naprogesic?
The main active component in Naprogesic is Naproxen Sodium.
When to avoid consumption of Naprogesic?
Do not take Naprogesic in case of stomach ulcer or other stomach disorder. In case of asthma, a history of high blood pressure, liver or kidney disease, or recent consumption of another medication, see doctor for advice before taking Naprogesic. Do not use in case of having impaired kidney function or heart failure.
