Triacet is an antifungal medicine that fights infections caused by fungus.
What other drugs will affect nystatin and Triacet?
It is not likely that other drugs will have an effect on topically applied Triacet. But many drugs can interact with each other. Tell each of the health care providers about all medicines recently used, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
What should be avoided while using Triacet?
Avoid getting this medicine in the eyes. If contact does occur, rinse with water. Do not use Triacet topical on broken or infected skin. Also, avoid using this medicine in open wounds.
What if Triacet taken more than prescribed?
An overdose of Triacet topical is not expected to produce life-threatening symptoms. However, long term use of high steroid doses can lead to symptoms such as thinning skin, easy bruising, changes in the shape or location of body fat, increased acne or facial hair, menstrual problems, impotence, or loss of interest in sex.
How should Triacet be stored?
Follow the instructions on the strip to store the medication safely. Usually, it should be kept at dry and cool place.
