Prograf is a prescription medicine and is used together with other medicines to prevent the body from rejecting a heart, liver, or kidney transplant.
How to consume Prograf?
You may take Prograf with or without food, but take it the same way each time. Prograf injection is given until you are ready to take the capsule form of this medicine.
What is to be avoided while taking Prograf?
Grapefruit may interact with tacrolimus and lead to unwanted side effects. Avoid the use of grapefruit products. Avoid drinking alcohol.
What happens in case of missed dosage?
Consume the medicine as soon as you remember, but skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next dose. Do not consume two doses at one time.
